Karmei Bravdo (Bravdo Vineyards)

Yesterday my parents, their friends and I went on a trip to the Bravdo Vineyards just outside of Rehovot. The vineyards belong to a family friend of my parents' friends.

Thinking of vineyards in Israel seems like kind of an anomoly, but this was truly unique, and truly authentic. It is a family-owned, medium-sized vineyard resting on top of the rolling hills in the Israeli country side. It resembled something you might see in Italy, but certainly not in this small desert country.

It was an intimate wine-tasting party - it was a cozy place, with beautiful weather, and tasty wine.
